|a يهدف هذا المقال إلى سرد مختلف الدراسات، التي أنجزت في السنوات السابقة، على الآثار الغارقة جزئيا أو كليا في منطقة شرشال "القيصرية"، عاصمة المقاطعة الرومانية ومن أهم المدن الساحلية في الفترة الإسلامية. ستسمح لنا هذه الدراسة بتحديد الثراء الأثري الغارق للمنطقة من جهة وتبيان إمكانية توسيع الأبحاث في هذا الميدان من جهة أخرى.

|f This article aims to list various studies carried out in previous years on partially or completely sunken monuments in the region of Cherchal “Cesarean”, the capital of the Roman province and one of the most important coastal cities of the Islamic period. |d Cet article a pour but de revenir sur les études effectuées ces dernières années sur J es sites archéologiques sous-marins de la région de Cherchell « Césarée de Maurétanie », capitale d'une province Romaine et l'une des plus importante cité du littoral Algérien dans la période Islamique. Cette étude nous permettra, d'une part, de déterminer le potentiel archéologique sous-marin de cette région, et d'autre part, de démontrer la possibilité d'étendre le champ de recherche dans ce domaine d'étude.
