المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل ملابسات الاختلاف الفرشي في القرآن الكريم مركزا على ما ورد منه في سورة مريم سعيا وراء اكتشاف سبب وقوعه أو الحكمة من وراء ذلك، ففي سورة مريم ثماني آيات فيها اختلاف فرشي، وحلل الباحثان الاختلاف الواقع في كل آية تحليلا بلاغيا على مذهب الإمام الجرجاني الذي يهتم بربط العناصر التركيبية والأسلوبية بالسياق والمقام. وقد توصل البحث إلى أن الاختلاف الفرشي في السورة المدروسة يمكن إرجاعه لأسباب معينة إذا أمعنا النظر في مضمون الآية وارتباطه بما حولها. وهذا يؤكد أن الاختلاف الفرشي في القرآن ليس من باب التناقض بل من التنوع البلاغي المحمود، بل إنه يمثل جانبا قلما تعرض له من قبل من جوانب الإعجاز البلاغي للقرآن الكريم.

This research intends to analyse the circumstances where the legitimate variant readings have occurred and still remain non-standardized (ikthilāf farshiyy) due its uniqueness, with special reference to those that occurred in the sūrah Maryam. To explore the reasons and wisdoms behind such variant readings are predominantly considered essential part of discussion throughout the study. There are eight non-standardized variant readings in sūrah Maryam and the researchers have analysed the variant readings of each verses in this sūrah in a way that appreciates their inimitable qualities of literature, according to Imam al-Jurjānī. Al-Jurjānī gives much importance to establish a close relationship between the syntactic and stylistic meanings of the Quran and their contextual significance. This study has concluded that the non-standardized variant readings in the given sūrah are quite necessary for certain reasons, when the connection of such readings with the whole content of verses are taken into consideration. This fact evidences that the phenomenon of farsh in the Quran cannot be counted among contradictory features the Book, rather they are among considerable varieties of the Quranic sentences, which are quite commendable. Furthermore, the farsh is among those aspects of inimitability of the Quran which still remain less studied and not fathomed so far.
