يرتبط تكوين أفراد المجتمع المبدع بأن تتمتع الصفات الشخصية بسمة التفكير الإبداعي، التي تتميز بها كلية التربية الفنية وبما تكتسبه من هذه السمات للطلاب والخريجين عن طريق المقررات الدراسية بكل تخصصاتها النظرية والعملية لخلق مناخ تربوي مناسب ليتكامل ويدعم المقومات الشخصية عند الأفراد، وبعد إطلاع الباحثتان على أهداف المحتوى العلمي لمقرر النحت بخامات مختلفة بالفرقة الرابعة (تربوي / ثقافي) المذكور باللائحة الداخلية (51) باعتباره أحد المقررات العملية، وجدنا أن تنمية مهارات التفكير هدف يتخلل كل الأهداف التربوية الخاصة بالمقرر الدراسي، ويمثل هذا المقرر مكانة هامة بإعتباره أحد المقررات التي تقوم على تنمية مهارات التفكير العقلي العليا من نقد وإبداع، واكتساب القدرة على التفكير السليم وتحليل الأشكال وتحويلها إلى صياغات ومجسمات متنوعة المستويات ويكون لها المردود والعائد على نتائج الطلاب من ممارسات تجريبية تؤكد على تكامل المهارات المعرفية، والذهنية، والمهنية العملية، والمهارات العامة في هذا المقرر ليحقق دوره في دعم مستوى المعايير الأكاديمية القياسية لخريج التربية الفنية، التي تنعكس بدورها على سلوك الأفراد الإبداعي في حل المشكلات والمواقف الحياتية. وقد شملت أداة البحث تصميم استمارة تحليل محتوى مقرر مادة النحت بخامات مختلفة لنتائج أعمال الطلاب لعينة قوامها 45 عمل نحتي مجسم لثلاث أعوام دراسية متتالية. ولقد تم استخلاص النتائج والتوصيات.
