اهتمت الدراسة بالكشف عن ملامح اقتصاديات الزواج في قرية مصرية بمحافظة دمياط، وتحددت المشكلة الأساسية للدراسة في التعرف على طبيعة التغيرات التي طرأت على الزواج في قرية مصرية؛ نتيجة التحولات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية التي شهدها المجتمع المصري في السنوات الأخيرة. وتجلى السؤال الرئيس الذي حاولت الدراسة الإجابة عنه في: هل أثرت تكاليف الزواج المرتفعة في تأخر سن الزواج بمجتمع الدراسة؟ ومن هذا المنطلق، فإن دراستنا الراهنة اتخذت من اقتصاديات الزواج موضوعا لها. وأجريت الدراسة الميدانية على محورين، الأول: كمي من خلال سحب عينة غير احتمالية مكونة من (200) شاب، توزعت بنسب متقاربة بين الجنسين، وذلك من خلال الاعتماد على استبانة مقننة من حيث الثبات والصدق، المحور الثاني؛ كيفي من خلال إجراء مقابلات متعمقة مع (17) حالة من ربات الأسر بالقرية من خلال الاعتماد على دليل مقابلة متعمقة. وتلخصت أبرز نتائج الدراسة حول؛ أن ثمة متغيرات عدة لاقتصاديات الزواج بمجتمع الدراسة (الخطوبة، مسكن الزوجية، جهاز الروس، قائمة المنقولات، ليلة الزفاف)، وان مضمون هذه المتغيرات جميعا بمجتمع الدراسة قد أصابها تغيرات عدة: وتحولت من الضروري إلى الكمالي، مما ضاعف من الأعباء المادية على الزوجين، الأمر، الذي تسبب في تأخر سن، الزواج بين الشباب في مجتمع الدراسة.
The study focuscd on the disclosure of the features of the economies of marriage in the village of Egyptian govemorate of Damietta, and identified the fundamental problem in the study to identify the nature of the changes that have taken place to get married in an Egyptian village; as a result of economic and social changcs witnessed by the Egyptian society in recent years. The main question that the study is trying to answer is: Are you influenced the high cost of marriage in tbe late age of marriage Study population? In this sense, the current study were taken from the economics of marriage as their theme. The study was conducted field on two axes: first, quantitative pull through sample is the likelihood of young people made up of 200 young, were distributed at rates comparable between the sexes, and so by relying on a questionnaire codified in terms of consistency and honesty, the second axis: Keefe through interviews depth with (17) the case of female heads of households in the village by relying on an in- depth interview guide. And summarized the most important results of the study on: that there is a several variants of the economics of marriages in Study population (engagement, the marital house, a bride, a list of movables, the wedding night), and that the content of these variables are all Study population may hit several changes and turned it necessary to perfect, which doubled of material burdens on the couple, which caused a late age of marriage youth in the study population.
