The aim of this article is to study, analyze and test the relationship between public spending and economic growth in Algeria for the period 1980-2014 based on the Keynesian theory, and using econometric tools: stationary tests, the Granger causality, cointegration, error correction model (ECM). And from these instruments, we found a causal relationship in either direction between public spending and economic growth, and with the ECM model, we found a long-term relationship |
