The Umayyads had their own approach in consolidating their rule & power and in dominating people by spreading up the Sayings and Phrases that force people to obey their unjust corrupted ruler. In addition, The Umayyads kept chasing and killing Ahlul-Bayt followers, specifically, the important key figures and scholars whom were working toward educating people and spreading Ahlul-Bayt knowledge and virtues. This approach by the Umayyads was in contrast to the Islamic values of justice and the revolution against oppression. Islam in its core represents justice and truth against falsehood. Accordingly, the rise of Imam Husayn was against such deviant values and against all ideologies in contrary to the true Islam. Such deviant values started taking hold of public minds because of pro-ruler scholar’s role. Imam Husayn (as) used his stature of being scion of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to declare the revolution against these principles and to give a momentum to the revolution that no other one in the Islamic world was able to form. In this theses, I have reviewed the major tribulations and problematics for the reason of timing of Imam Husayn’s rise, whether the revolution targeted Yazid as a person or as an approach & behavior, and reasons for not standing up against Muawiyah in time of his rule. Then, the other major problematic of choosing Al-Kufa as an uprise capital was reviewed as well even though many have advised to avoid it.
