المستخلص: The cult complexes like the pyramids served the gods of the state and the king, they were part of the divine cults. However, the surviving architecture and the archaeological records, may provide some sort of direct sources for relations between the various recipients and places of worship. On the other hand the scale of surviving monument offers a rough guide for much information particularly about the emplacement of royal statues interior the temples(1) which relatively still have their walls, courts, sanctuaries and even their ceilings, but they have lost most of their statuary(2), even also almost what were discovered was not in its original situ, so this study will try to reconstruct the exact position of the statues, attempt to understand the real function of the valley temple; a problem which is still a matter of debate among scholars and it will be a study to khafre's (Chephren) temple as a case study.
