520		\|b Seismic refraction profile of about 2000 meters was carried out across Al-aziziyah fault. The area of investigation is located about 35 kilometers south of the capital Tripoli. Velocities and depths were calculated using the plus – minus method. The changes in velocity and thickness give the probable location of Al-aziziyah fault which is very well defined.
