المستخلص: Ali Kamal is a Turkish politician, novlist and jounalist. He is one of the most prominent thinkers and writers in Turkish literature. Kamal was banished to the state of Aleppo in 1889 and executed in 1889 because of his political attitudes. Ali Kamal had lived in the state of Aleppo for six years. During this period, he worked in different jobs. He wrote two novels in that period, their events revolve in Syria. He had the opportunity to learn about the state and its various regions. In his compositions, he gave a good space for the state especially in his memoirs and novels. The author gave valuable information which highlights the political, social, economic and cultural life of the state of Aleppo in the last decade of the nineteenth century. He talked about the pros which he saw in the state and he didnot neglect to mention its drawbacks. Also, he gave some western tales related to its people.
