|b CdS nanocrystalline thin film coated by sol-gel spin coating process with a less reported precursor based on polyethylene glycol (PEG200). Heat treatment in air atmosphere was at 200 oC annealing temperature and, the prepared thin film was investigated by studying their structural and morphological. X-ray diffraction pattern results suggest that the samples are polycrystalline in nature with a hexagonal crystal structural having average grain size 1.316 to 4.117 nm. The surface morphology and structures of the film was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The results revealed that the film consists of Nano crystalline grains with uniform coverage of the surface wafer.
