Nanocrystalline Lizardite (Mg,Fe)3Si2O5(OH)4 has been synthesized by ball-milling. The physical parameters have been strictly controlled so as to achieve the nanocrystalline state of the material and to avoid chemical reactions. Scanning Electron Microscopy, X-ray diffraction measurements have been carried out both on powdered samples and ball-milled samples at room environment. The results, providing information on the structural and compositional features of the produced samples. |
