المستخلص: Since the treaty of Westphalia in 1648 which emphasized the state nation as a principal unit in analyzing international relations, it wasn’t easy to understand the movement and dynamism of the latter in insolation from the former. As a result, it was necessary to appreciate the meaning of security starting from the unit’s interior or it’s borders with the other ones. However, what is remarkable is the recession of the classical meaning of state sovereignty under the new changes brought by globalization. Under the shadow of the increasing widespread of security menaces, its globalization and its ability to abolish borders and decrease states sovereignty, how can we appreciate the state nation’s future in this problematic atmosphere? And how about Algeria’s situation?
