تتمثل حدود هذه الدراسة في ثلاث سير شعبية عربية، هي: سيرة الأميرة ذات الهمة، وسيرة عنترة بن شداد، وسيرة بني هلال، وهي السير الثلاث الوحيدة التي كان بطلها أسود، واقترن سواد لون البشرة بالعبودية والشك في النسب، هذا بالرغم من أصالة أنساب كل واحد منهم. وتسعى هذه الدراسة إلى الوقوف عند الصورة التي تجلى بها الأسود بوصفه مهمشا في هذه السير الشعبية الثلاث. فالمتأمل لتجليات الأسود فيها سيلحظ أهمية دلالاته الرمزية، وذلك فيما يتبدى في الربط بين الأسود والعبودية من ناحية، والأسود والعربي من ناحية أخرى. وستعتمد الدراسة -لدراسة هذا الموضوع-على النقد الثقافي الذي يهتم بالمهمل والمهمش. وتتوقف الدراسة الحالية عند أربع نقاط أساسية، هي: مهاد نظري حول الأسود ودلالاته اللغوية والاجتماعية والثقافية، وأهمية دراسة هذا الموضوع في ضوء النقد الثقافي. وتأصيل تاريخي واجتماعي لمكانة الأسود على الصعيدين الشعبي والرسمي. والصور التي تجلى بها اللون الأسود وحامله في السير الشعبية الثلاث. ومحاولات تفسير أسطورة اللون الأسود.
This paper dealing with the subject of The black heroes in the Arab Folk Siras. It will depend on three Siras (Sirat Bani Hilal, Sirat Antara and Sirat al.Amira Dhat al.Hemmah).
