المستخلص: Sheikh Ali Al-Tantawi is one of the most famous scholars and men of letters in the modern age. In his book: "From the Fragrance of Al- Madinah Al-Munawwarah's Sanctuary", he described his journey from Damascus to Al- Madinah Al-Munawwarah before a century in a beautiful literary style. The researcher reviewed the city's image and made it clear that it is an excellent image bearing the characteristics of the Travel Literature. It also shows the artistic sense of Sheikh Al-Tantawi as well as his pen in writing artistic prose. Furthermore, it manifests his wide culture.
