وخلاصة البحث أن الورقة هدفت إلى التعريف بأقمار الاتصالات من حيث (النشأة والتطور، والتكنولوجيا، والاستخدامات) لما تقوم به من دور رائد وهام قدم للبشرية أسبابا للنهضة والرقي في كل المجالات، حيث الاتصال يشكل القاسم المشترك في تطوير كل المجالات تقريبا دون استثناء، إن كان ذلك على مستوى الخدمات المباشرة التي توفرها هذه التقنية المذهلة، أو على مستوى توفير المعلومات التي تقود بدورها إلى الاستفادة من تجارب الآخرين وخبراتهم في مختلف المجالات أو ربطهم والاستعانة بهم في المشاركة الفعلية في الأنشطة العلمية وغيرها كالذي يحدث الآن في عملية التعليم عن بعد وإجراء العمليات الجراحية التي يشارك فيها فريق طبي يقيم أفراده في أكثر من دولة يربط بينهم الاتصال عبر الأقمار الاصطناعية، إضافة إلى سعي البعض لاستخدام هذه التقنية في جعل الإنسان شخصية عالمية ذلك بتذويب الهوية بمكوناتها القليدية المعروفة والتي لازالت تحدد انتماء الفرد وخلفياته الأيدلوجية، لتحل محلها هوية انتماؤها يكون عالميا، وهذا مجال آخر خصب للبحث لمعرفة المآلات التي تقود لها هذه التكنولوجيا الاتصالية مستقبلا وما هو نفعها وما حجم الضرر في سوء استخدامها واستغلالها في ما يفرغها من أهدافها الإنسانية السامية.
