المستخلص: This research defines the science of the Prophetic characteristics, its importance and relationship to the other sciences. It mentions its tools and sources upon which it relied, it also shows its divisions, special classifications and the number of the Prophetic characteristics. Further, it examines some of the rulings that relate to the Prophetic characteristics which do not extend to others. The basic principle is to follow in the footsteps of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
