This study aimed at highlighting the educational function of informing the child in Sudan, stand on the major challenges facing the Arab community, out scientific ideas serve as a road map for those interested in the order of Education to recruit and media images optimized to achieve the desired social and economic development. The importance of the subject in being one of the few studies that are trying to find out the educational function of the media. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method in the analysis of the phenomenon under study, also used observation, interview, books and the Internet to collect relevant data to study. The study reached the following conclusions: The educational function to inform the child is not less important than the role performed by the traditional media, the need to train educational institutions on how to deal with different media and employed to serve the educational process, the need to take advantage of the innovations of modem communication technologies in the process of education. The study recommended the followings: The need to coordinate efforts between educational and media institutions in Sudan and the Arab countries, the need for educational programs means the Sudanese media funding, the need to train teaching staff about how to use the media in the development of the educational process and the need to take advantage of educational media in Arab countries experiences
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على الوظيفة التربوية لإعلام الطفل بالسودان، والوقوف على أبرز التحديات التي تواجه المجتمع العربي، للخروج بأفكار علمية تكون بمثابة خارطة طريق للمهتمين بأمر التربية، لتوظيف وسائل الإعلام بصور مثلى لتحقيق التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية المنشودة. تتبع أهمية هذا الموضوع في كونه أحد الدراسات القليلة التي تحاول معرفة الوظيفة التربوية للإعلام. وقد اتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في تحليل الظاهرة موضوع الدراسة، كما استخدم الملاحظة، والمقابلة، والكتب، والإنترنت في جمع البيانات ذات الصلة بالموضوع محل الدراسة. توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: هنالك وظيفة تربوية لإعلام الطفل لا تقل أهمية عن الدور الذي يؤديه الإعلام التقليدي، ضرورة تدريب المؤسسات التربوية على التعامل مع وسائط الإعلام المختلفة وتوظيفه لخدمة العملية التربوية، ضرورة الاستفادة من مستحدثات تقنيات الاتصال الحديثة في عملية التربية والتعليم. أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تنسيق الجهود بين المؤسسات التربوية والإعلامية بالسودان والدول العربية، ضرورة تمويل البرامج التعليمية بوسائل الإعلام السودانية، ضرورة تدريب الكوادر التعليمية حول كيفية توظيف وسائل الإعلام في تطوير العملية التربوية، ضرورة الاستفادة من تجارب الإعلام التربوي بالدول العربية.
