المستخلص: بعيدا عن النظرة الإيجابية لقناة الجزيرة ولسياستها الإعلامية التي أبهرت نسبة كبيرة من المتلقين لأسباب يتعلق أغلبها بالعطش الإعلامي الذي عانى منه المشاهد العربي، ووجد في الجزيرة ما يروي ضمأه خاصة في سنوات بثها الأولى. نجد أن هناك نظرة سلبية للسياسة الإعلامية للجزيرة، حيث يرى ناقدوها أنها أصبحت دولة داخل دولة واكتسبت من القوة والجبروت ما يضعف الرأي المخالف لسياستها الإعلامية المبنية على مبدأ التركيز على مشاهد إعلامية على حساب مشاهد أخرى. وفي ظل التطورات الخطيرة التي عرفتها الدول العربية أنظمة وشعوبا، تعالت أصوات النقد للجزيرة حيث يرى أصحاب هذا الرأي أن الحرية ليست رفاهية مطلقة، بل هي التزام ومسؤولية، ولذلك فعلى من يتحمل أمانتها أن يتحلى بصفات عليا، أولها إدراك خطورة الكلمة وأبعادها وتأثيراتها، بخاصة في فترة حرجة كالتي تمر بها أمتنا العربية، بدءا باحتلال العراق عام 2003 مرورا بتقسيم السودان والعدوان الأطلسي على ليبيا والفوضى في مصر وتونس واليمن وانتهاء بالأزمة السورية، لكن "الجزيرة" أحيانا تشارك في هذه الأزمات بسوء استعمال الكلمة والصورة، مما يؤدي إلى قتل حلم المواطن العربي المرتبط بالحرية والسلام.
