Al Adeeb paper, shows creative items cover all the types of literature, including the criticism, the theoretical, practical and the critical text. It does not stop by the fictional criticism only. The paper tackles the prose and poetry as well. This presented study deploys the critical essays with discussions, analyses and criticism as well. To let the paper's writers know that there are another critics after them, criticizing what they criticize, to prompt criticism career. This study falls in four chapters: critical text and the identity of short story. experiencing in short story, the contextual methods of short story criticism, textual methods of criticizing short story. The fifth chapter would be conclusions of the study made by the writer. The first chapter of this thesis studies the critical participations which deal out the critical text as a term of critical applications in literary studies, and its problematic form due to the diversified literary views in Arabic Literature, depending upon that the critical text focuses on the components of critical works precisely and objectively. The first chapter, deals, as well, with the prominent changes in the short story forms and styles in the deferent ages in the twentieth century, taking in considerations the political, social, and economical views and affects. The purpose behind that is to confirm the identity of short story in through. For that reason, this chapter is in tow parts: the critical text and the identity of short story. The second chapter discuss the experiencing of writing and short story, and the writers attempts to discover an alternative channels for expressing, therefore the short story has technical and individual thinking aspects and characterizations, carry the thumps of the writer. In other words, the new individual characterizations, techniques and distinctive fictional themes and diversity in patterns tried to break down the old models in this term. For that, this chapter has two parts; experiencing and over experiencing stage. The third chapter deals with the critical work, which takes use of external environment to know what the text implicit has in. So we see this chapter in four parts: historical, social, pcychological, and impressive texts. The last chapter of this study deals with the most conclusions of this theses, and presents a list of the sources (bibliography) which are depended in this study. Finally, I hope, sincerely, that this study will participate and present a humble participation in the Arabic critical studies. If there any mistake in it, the reason would be very normal, just because we are people and normally make mistakes, with my best regards.
