المستخلص: The research deals with the life of Ibn Tamlos and his works, and then a verification of the text of the manuscript, which is the introduction of the book of Ibn Tamlos in logic and shows the importance and the value of this part in many ways. It was the reference to the historians before the philosophers, because it carried a balance between the cultural and intellectual interactions in Andalusia from the entry of Islam until the era of Ibn Tamlos. The Book of “Algabr Wa’l-Muqabala” by Muhammad Bin Musa Al-Khwarizmi: Doubting its authenticity and historical inaccuracies about it Ahmad Muhammad Jawad Mohsen Al-Hakim / Iraq Al- Khwarizmi was considered the first founder of algebra. But after the European West translated the Greek works, and learned the sciences of the ancient civilizations of Babylonians, Egyptians, Chinese and Hindus, the matter changed. Then some of the Western historians began to make doubt about the authenticity of Khawarizmi’s book and then tried to belittle it and its contribution, because they found in the science of these civilizations the elementary principles to solve equations. This issue is one of the main themes that we will discuss in this study. In addition, we will discuss the different views about this book, beginning with the scientific meaning of the words Algebra and comparison, and the historical inaccuracies that many historians have about the history of algebra, as well as the paradoxes that have occurred in its translation, This is followed by an attempt to give general judgment on the origins of this book. However, we will begin by identifying the meaning of algebra and comparison in Arabic.
