المستخلص: Concluded that this study indicated that the banks under study, the limited efficiency in achieving profitability and minimize costs, and the current sitution of the banks Algerian characterized by control of the public sector, so the study recommends that the Algerian authorities to work to raise the efficiency of Algerian banks by increasing thier independence, and espicially public banks, as well as inprove the efficiency of the luman element and modernization of banks, as well as to provide innovative banking services to meet the intense competition in the light of liberalization of trade in banking services.
