المستخلص: Ballet is one of the dance arts that expresses the feelings, the wishes and aspirations of man since ancient times. This art, like other arts passed through several stages that gave it the characteristics and different attributes. The author of Ballet who seeks highness and rising above the normal levels has to study senior painters work, and follow their approach and diversified their methods of implementation and construction. Edgar Degas:- French painter follows the impressionism art movement painted scenes of modem life but he was not focusing on light and color but on the drawing, the motion and the shape more than other impressionists, was best known for drawing people in all the moment of public and private life. He was interested in quick and detailed painting, his feeling of the motion and analyzing it with his pencil. He attended opera housed and theaters and completely knew the great effort of dancers was doing to reach perfection in their performance. Half of his estate was Ballet paintings such as his most famous paintings: 1- Three dancers in purple skirts. 2- Dance class. 3- Blue dancers. 4- Ballet rehearsal. 5- Dancer on the stage.
