تناولنا في هذا البحث (الرأي الفقهي والقانوني لاستئصال رحم الفتاة المعاقة عقليا). حيث عرفنا مفهوم الإعاقة وبينا التطور التاريخي للنظرة للمعاق، واهتمام الشريعة بالمعاق ثم تحدثنا عن أسباب الإعاقة وأنواعها، وتبين لنا أن الإعاقة ليست بدرجة واحدة، ثم بحثنا الرأي الفقهي لهذا الموضوع وحرص الشريعة الإسلامية على حقوق المعاق وتحريمها الاعتداء على كرامته وحقوقه، واعتبرت استئصال الرحم لدى الفتاة المعاقة جريمة يعاقب عليها، واتفق حكم فقهاء القانون الدولي مع ذلك من خلال تشريع الكثير من الاتفاقيات الدولية للحفاظ على حقوق هذه الفئة من المجتمع، كما اعتبر القانون التمييز بين المواطنين جريمة يعاقب عليها، كما تناولت الرأي الطبي لهذا الموضوع الذي اعتبر إجراء مثل هذه العمليات اعتداء على إنسانية الإنسان مع وجود رأي آخر للأطباء والذي كان يسمح بها ضمن المعطيات التي يرى أنها في مصلحة المعاقة فدار الحوار بين فريقين: فريق يرى تحريم إجراء هذه العمليات، وفريق يؤيد إجراء هذه العمليات بوصفها مصلحة للمعاقة، وتناولت الدراسة في بعض مراحلها التشريع الأردني بوصفه من الموضوعات التي طرحت على الساحة الأردنية.
