المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى بيان التأصيل الإسلامي للضبط الاجتماعي من حيث المفهوم، والكشف عن معالم هذا التأصيل من ذكر للعلاقة والمراحل والأهداف والعوامل، وبيان دور الأسرة والمسجد والمدرسة في ذلك. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة اتبعت الباحثة المنهج الأصولي الاستقرائي والاستنباطي، وذلك بالرجوع إلى القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية واستنباط ما يتعلق بالضبط الاجتماعي، وقد اشتملت الدراسة على ثلاثة مباحث، وهي: المبحث الأول: مفهوم التأصيل الإسلامي للضبط الاجتماعي، المبحث الثاني: معالم التأصيل الإسلامي للضبط الاجتماعي، المبحث الثالث: دور المؤسسات التربوية في الضبط الاجتماعي. وأسفرت عن الاستنتاجات الآتية: التأصيل الإسلامي للضبط الاجتماعي هو: تأسيس العمليات التي تنظم سلوك الأفراد أو الجماعات أو المجتمع على ما يلائمها في الشريعة الإسلامية من أدلة نصية أو قواعد كلية أو اجتهادات مبنية عليها أو نماذج تطبيقية مورست في عهد النبي.

The concept of social control is considered an important concept relative to man-made upbringing. This is a central concept among the variant sociological concepts. It stemmed as an output of dire need perceived by the Western societies. In specific, it was felt that norms of sociological behavior should be practiced. Such norms should both regulate and organize behaviors of both individuals and groups. This is imperative in view of social disintegration that has rendered humanity remote from its achievement. Contrary to Western societies, Islamic societies present a candid model. Since the advent of Islam, Islamic society provides to all its strata internal control based on self-consciousness and fear of Allah and Resurrection Day. Its external control is manifested by imposition of penalties - Hudud, Qisas and Tazir, etc. The present research provides an exposition of real social control in Islam. It is based on original Islamic sources. The present research provides also review on social network. It meets the standard of Islamic civilization. Its original-based sources uncover variant highlights - concept, objectives, stages and means. The present research is oriented to accomplish one specific objective. Based on original sources, it seeks to present concept of social control and its various components - concept; stages; aims; and factors. Also, it seeks to expose the relative roles of some social institutions - family; mosque; and school, etc. In order to fulfil the avowed objective, the present researcher has employed root-oriented, deductive and inductive methodology. For research data, she has relied heavily on two fundamental textual sources -Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah. The research comprises three sections. First section deals with the concept of social control based on original sources. Second section provides discussion on the fundamental highlights of Islamic concept of social control. Third section exposes the role of educational institutions in social control. The present research has offered some findings. Among the latter, the following are salient: 1. The concept of social control based on Islamic original sources is a process that organizes the behaviors of individuals, groups and communities commensurate to the norms of Islamic Sharia. Such norms are derived from evidences and applied models practised during the lifetime of Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم Social control from Islamic perspective is worship to Allah Almighty and seeking His Pleasure. Its end gain is to achieve security of society and its stability. 2. Among the decisive key words derived from the Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah and refer to the meaning of social control are -Al-Islah (reforms); al-Hudud; Al-Amr bil Marouf Wal-Nahi Anil-Munkair; and exhortation upon virtuous ethics. 3. Relationship between Islamic religion and social control is a direct relationship. Islam and social control are interlinked. 4. Among the various stages associated with social control in Islam, the most significant are - Heavenly-ordained legislation; self-control; awakening of conscience; community control; social control; and state control. 5. Associated with social control in Islam, the most decisive factors are - Islamic Aqida (faith); habits; conventions; training; and laws, etc. 6. Ibn Khaldun is considered as an exponent on social control. He presented study of social control and its relationship with Islam 7. Among the multiple objectives sought through social control in Islam is worship to Allah; vicegerancy in land; pursuits of Sharia; and security and stability of Islamic society and civilization 8. As an important training institution, family plays significant role in the process of social control. It inculcates compliance of Divine commands and builds ideal models 9. Mosque (Masjid) plays equal role in social control. It establishes permanent committees to render tasks relative to Amr bil Marouf Wa Nahi Ani Munkar (commanding on virtues and refraining from evils); and resolving conflicts among disputants. 10. School also plays constructive role in social control. It teaches Muslim students the nature of positive values - truth in words; sincerity in actions; sacrifice; cooperation; endurance; steadfastness; charity; and cleanliness.
