This study provides in-depth analysis of an important issue for the academic community: information centers with Big Data and their role in development of a knowledge economy. The study postulates that the efforts of academic, research and other information centers with Big Data in the Kingdom in supporting development should be consistent with the needs of the institutions and bodies that operate within the field of sustainable development. The main goal of these centers is to provide access to researchers’ information and sources, drawn from all sectors of society, and appropriate to the extent whereby they represent an important resource and source for development. These, like the State and society’s other natural and human resources, are indispensable in the ongoing quest to achieve sustainable development |
