استهدف البحث التعرف على تشكيل الذات في شعر عروة بن الورد فبدأ بمقدمة أشار فيها إلى نسب عروة ومكانته بين الصعاليك وتصنيف الصعاليك حيث انقسموا لثلاث طوائف. كما أشار إلى مميزات شعر الصعاليك وحركة الصعلكة وأوضح أن شخصية عروة النامية أو المركزية أو الإيجابية تلك الشخصية المغامرة الشجاعة المعقدة بكل الدلالات التي توحي بها العقدة والتي تكره وتحب وتصعد وتهبط وتفعل الخير كما تفعل الشر تؤثر في سواها تأثيرا مباشرا. وانتقل البحث إلى أن تشكيل الذات في شعر عروة بن الورد يمكن دراسته من خلال أربعة محاور شمل الأول الذات بين الموقف الفردي والموقف الجماعي. وضم الثاني الذات وثنائية الزمان والمكان. وتناول الثالث الذات والواقع. وعنى الرابع بالذات والآخر. وتوصل البحث إلى أن شعر عروة بن الورد صورة حية لحياته. وأنه يختلف عن الشعراء الصعاليك في ارتباطه بالقبيلة وفقراءها. كما أن التضاد الجغرافي في الجزيرة العربية عامل مهم في تشكيل ذات الشاعر. وأن العقد النفسية والاجتماعية دفعت عروة نحو الصعلكة فكانت مكونا من مكونات الذات وأن المرأة بوصف آخر كانت مرآة للذات الشاعرة وعاكسة للشخصية بكل سماتها.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The research aimed to identify the shape of the self in the poetry of Erwa ibn Al-Ward. The research began with an introduction in which it mentioned to Erwa's ancestry and his position among Al-Sa'alik and the classification of Al-Sa'alik, where they were divided into three sects. It also pointed out Al-Sa'alik poetry feature and Al-Sa'alik movement. It explained that Erwa has developing or central or positive character. This complex, courageous, and adventure personality with all evidence, which are suggested by the complicity that hate, love, climb, landing, and do good as do evil affect others directly. The research also discuss that the self -formation in Erwa Bin Al-Ward's poetry can be studied through four axes, including the first axis dealt with the self between the individual situation and the collective situation. The second axis dealt with the self and bilateral of time and space. The third dealt with self and reality. The fourth addressed self and the other. The research concluded that Erwa Bin Al-Ward was a vivid picture of his life. In addition, he is different from the poets of Al Salik in his association with the tribe and their poor people . The geographical contiguity in the Arabian Peninsula is also an important factor in shaping the poet's self. That the psychological and social complex pushed Erwa towards Al-Salqa, it was a component of the self and that the woman in another description was a mirror of the poet's self and reflective of personality in all its features.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
