المستخلص: هدف البحث الى الكشف عن احتساب الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء في مجال حماية المستهلك، وبيان سبق التشريع الإسلامي لكل الأنظمة والقوانين في حماية المستهلك وحفظ حقوقه، وبيان ضرورة الاحتساب على مخالفي الشرع فيما يتعلق بحماية المستهلك والرقابة على جودة المنتجات وسلامتها. بالإضافة إلى إبراز دور المملكة العربية السعودية الريادي في مجال حماية المستهلك والأنظمة التي أصدرتها للعناية بهذا الشأن. والتعرف على جهود الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء في مجال حماية المستهلك كجهة رسمية أنشئت لهذا الغرض. واعتمد البحث على المنهج الاستقرائي. وأشارت نتائج البحث الى قيام النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالاحتساب في مجال حماية المستهلك بنفسه بالمرور في الأسواق، ومتابعة تعاملات الناس وتفقد بضائعهم لضمان سلامتها.
كما أن اهتمام الدول الإسلامية بتطبيق الحسبة في مجال حماية المستهلك للتأكيد على أهميتها في تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار لأفراد المجتمع المسلم.
كما سعت الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء الى تكثيف جهودها منذ تأسيسها لتطهير البلاد من الفساد السلعي فيما يختص بمجال عملها. واتخذت كافة السبل العلمية والعملية لتتبعها في مواقعها المختلفة مما أبرز دورها الهام في وقت قياسي. وأوصى البحث بضرورة عقد ورش عمل وحلقات نقاش بين الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء والجهات ذات العلاقة لتحديد مساحات الرقابة والمسؤولية حتى لا يحصل تداخل وازدواجية في العمل.

The research aims to illustrate the Saudi food and drug authority (SFDA) control in the field of consumer protection, and the statement of the Islamic legislation for all laws and regulations in the protection of consumers and the preservation of their rights, and the need to control the violators in relation to consumer protection and control on the quality and safety of products in addition to highlighting the leading role of Saudi Arabia in the field of consumer protection and the regulations issued by it to consider this matter as well as identifying the efforts of SFDA in the field of consumer protection as an official body established for this purpose. The research is based on the inductive approach.
The results of the research indicate that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) held the responsibly of controlling the markets in the field of consumer protection by passing through them, following up the transactions of people and inspecting their goods to ensure their safety. The Islamic countries greatly consider applying the methods of controlling in the field of consumer protection in order to emphasize their importance in achieving security and stability for members of the Muslim community..
The SFDA has also sought to intensify its efforts since its establishment to purge the country of commodity corruption in the field of its work considering all scientific and practical ways to track them in different locations, which highlight its important role in a record time. The research affirms the necessity of holding workshops and panel discussions between SFDA and related bodies to determine the areas of control and responsibility so as to avoid overlapping of work.
