المستخلص: هدف المقال إلى استعراض كتاب حول الزعيم الخطابي بعنوان محمد عبد الكريم الخطابي الأجديري الورياغلي وما تضمنه الكتاب من وثائق وتقارير. وأشار المقال إلى أن الكتاب ضم كماً كبيراً من الوثائق بنصها الحرفي المحفوظ في الأرشيف العسكري الإسباني. وهي تغطي حياة الزعيم الخطابي والأسرة حتى سنة 1914. موضحا أن هذه هي السنة التي بدأ فيها اضطراب العلاقات بين سلطات مليلية وقبيلة بني ورياغل وخاصة أسرة الخطابي. وأظهر المقال أن الكتاب ضم 239 وثيقة وهي عبارة عن تقارير استخباراتية متفاوتة في الأهمية. إذ تتناول وثائق متعددة وجوانب تفصيلية للموضوعات التي تتطرق إليها. وأن هذه التقارير منها ما هو شخصي وعائلي ومنها ما له علاقة بالشأن العام. وأشار المقال إلى أن الكتاب قُسم إلى تسعة فصول، خصص الفصل الأول لنبذة تاريخية عن المغرب، وركز الثاني على القرن 19، والثالث على أسرة الخطابي، ثم استرسل في عرض الوثائق. وتطرق المقال إلى ذكر نبذة عن محمد بن عبد الكريم بانه كان أستاذا في المدرسة الابتدائية في مليلية وقاضيا في نفس المدينة ومترجما في مصلحة الشئون الأهلية التابعة لرئاسة أركان حرب الجيش الإسباني. وان أسرته كانت تحظى بمكانة ملحوظة وبتسهيلات تنقل. واختتم المقال بعرض بعض الوثائق.

The aim of the article was to review a book about the Al-Khattabi leader, Mohamed Abdelkrim Al-Khattabi, Al-Ajdairy Al-Ourayghali and the documents and reports contained in the book. The article pointed out that the book included a large number of documents with its verbatim text preserved in the archives of the Spanish military. It covers the life of Al-Khattabi and the family until 1914. The article explained that 1914 is the year in which the disruption of relations between the authorities of Melilla and the tribe of Ait Ouriaghel began, especially Al-Khattabi family. The article showed that the book included 239 documents, which are intelligence reports uneven in importance. It deals with various documents and detailed aspects of the topics, which the article addressed. In addition, that these reports, includedpersonal and family, including what is related to public affairs. The article pointed out that the book was divided into nine chapters. The first chapter devoted a historical overview of Morocco, the second chapter focused on the 19th century, and the third chapter focused on Al-Khattabi's family, then the article proceed to present the documents. The article referred to mention a brief biography of Mohammed bin Abdul Karim that he was a professor at the primary school in Melilla , a judge in the same city, and an interpreter in the Civil Affairs Department, general Staff of the Spanish Army. In addition, that his family was well-known and had mobility facilities. The article concluded by presenting some documents.
