هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة العلاقة بين الشعور بالوحدة النفسية والتوافق النفسي والاجتماعي لدى أطفال الشوارع. وكذلك العلاقة بين القلق والتوافق النفسي والاجتماعي لدى أطفال الشوارع. والعلاقة بين مفهوم الذات والتوافق النفسي والاجتماعي لدى أطفال الشوارع. وأيضا التنبؤ بالتوافق النفسي والاجتماعي لأطفال الشوارع من خلال مفهوم الذات والقلق والوحدة النفسية. بالإضافة إلى دراسة طبيعية الواقع الاجتماعي للطفولة ومشكلاتها. ومدى الاهتمام الإقليمي والدولي والمحلي لتطوير وتنمية هذا الواقع. وأيضا دراسة طبيعة الأوضاع الاجتماعية والاقتصادية لأطفال الشوارع أثناء تواجدهم مع أسرهم وقبل النزول للشارع. وكذلك التعرف على دور منظمات المجتمع المدني ودورها في تقديم الخدمات والبرامج (التعليمية-الأسرية-العملية-السكنية-الاحتياجات الأساسية) لعلاج مشكلة أطفال الشوارع. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي. وتكونت مجموعة الدراسة من 300 طفلا من أطفال الشوارع. وتمثلت أدوات الدراسة في مقياس الوحدة النفسية ومقياس القلق ومقياس مفهوم الذات واختبار التوافق النفسي والاجتماعي. وتوصلت النتائج إلى أن التوافق النفسي والاجتماعي له علاقة عكسية بكل من الفشل الدراسي والعمل أثناء الدراسة لأطفال الابتدائي والعمل الزراعي لأطفال مدارس القري وعدم القبول الاجتماعي. وان هناك علاقة عكسية بين الوحدة النفسية والتوافق النفسي والاجتماعي. وأوصت الدراسة بعدة توصيات من أهمها ضرورة تدخل المسئولين في الدولة لإيجاد وتوفير شقق سكنية لساكني الشوارع. بالإضافة إلى قيام مراكز الإرشاد النفسي بتحمل مسئولياتها تجاه أطفال الشوارع بعمل دورات إرشادية بصورة دائمة لتحقيق أكبر قدر من التوافق النفسي والاجتماعي لهم. وأيضا توفير فرص عمل لأطفال الشوارع لسد احتياجاتهم المادية ولمنعهم من الانحراف. وإنشاء مراكز لمحو الأمية خاصة بأطفال الشوارع. وكذلك توفير الدوريات المستمرة لرجال الشرطة لمنع الجريمة والقضاء على المنحرفين. وتوفير الخدمات الأساسية مجانا وبسرعة مثل إنارة والمياه والصرف الصحي. وأيضا إنشاء مكتبات في المناطق العشوائية لشغل أوقات فراغ الأطفال ولتكن متحركة.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The study aimed to identify the relationship between feeling of loneliness and psychological and social adjustment of street children in addition to the relationship between anxiety and psychological and social adjustment of street children. In addition to the relationship between the self-concept and the psychological and social adjustment of street children. In addition, to predict this adjustment of street children through the self-concept, anxiety and feeling of loneliness. In addition to, studying the nature of the social reality of childhood and its problems. The extent of regional, international and local attention to the development of this reality. Study the social and economic conditions of street children while they were with their families and before going down the street in addition to the role of civil society organizations and their role in providing services and programs (educational-family-practical-residential-basic needs) to address the problem of street children. The study used the descriptive correlative approach. The study group consisted of 300 street children. The study tools were represented in the feeling of loneliness scale, the anxiety scale, the self-concept scale, and the self and social adjustment test. The results found that psychological and social adjustment has an inverse relation to both scholastic failure and work while studying for primary school children, agricultural work for children in rural schools, and lack of social acceptance. There is an inverse relationship between feeling of loneliness and psychological and social adjustment. The study set several recommendations, the most important of which are the necessity of officials in the state to intervene to find and provide residential apartments for street dwellers. In addition , the psychological counseling centers should assume their responsibilities towards street children to provide guidance sessions on a permanent basis to achieve the greatest amount of psychological and social adjustment for them. Also, providing job opportunities for street children to meet their material needs and to prevent them from delinquency. The establishment of literacy centers for street children as well as providing continuous police patrols to prevent crime and eliminate delinquents.
