This is the abstract of a study by the title of “anger in the Light of Islam: A Field and Scientific Study, a Survey from a Number of Students of the Dept of sharia and Islamic Studies in al- Ihsaa’ Campus of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. Allah created people with varying degrees of dispositions, drives, and forces. Further, people vary in the way they deal with others in their daily lives in accordance with what their dispositions demand of them and with as much ability as they have in disciplining them, and how well they can handle the stimulations they confront; some are driven away by trivialities, and hence they become quick-tempered, while others keep their poise and composure despite the calamities that have befallen them. Undoubtedly, expressions of anger represent a cultural comportment that is induced by a set of factors that influence the individual and society. Feelings of anger are associated with the cultural level in one’s society. Anger is a force proportional to one’s civilizational advancement; the more the excessive situations of anger increase in a society, the more its problems and crises, and vice versa. However, it should be noted that anger is not a bad thing altogether, for there is the kind of anger that is praiseworthy, namely that which is for the sake of Allah. Furthermore, this study consists of a preface, an introduction, two parts, and a conclusion, as in the following: Section I: theoretical study, and includes four sections: First topic: the Islamic conception of anger. The second topic: the causes of anger. The third topic: the effects of anger in the community. Section IV: the treatment of anger. Section II: Analysis of field cultural study to identify the anger, and the four points: First: the general characteristics of the study sample. Second: the measurements used. Third: the analytical methods used. Fourth: the results of the statistical analysis. Conclusion: It includes the most noteworthy outcomes and recommendations. I praise Allah such that He has helped me in finalizing this study, and I pray to Him for the sincerity in my statements and in my actions!
فهذا ملخص بحث بعنوان: (مفهوم الغضب في ضوء الإسلام) مع دراسة علمية ميدانية بتطبيق استبانة على عينة من طلاب وطالبات قسم الشريعة في كلية الشريعة والدراسات الإسلامية في الأحساء - فرع جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية. خلق الله عز وجل الناس على درجات متفاوتة من الطبائع والغرائز والقوى، ويتفاوت الناس في طريقة تعاملهم مع الآخرين في حياتهم اليومية بحسب ما تمليه عليهم طبائعهم، وقدرتهم على تهذيبها، ومدى معالجة المثيرات التي يواجهونها؛ فمنهم من تستخفه التوافه، فيغضب على عجل، ومنهم من تستفزه الشدائد فيبقى محتفظا برجاحة فكره وحلمه. والتعبير عن حالات الغضب يمثل سلوكًا ثقافيًا ينتج عن مجموعة من العوامل المؤثرة في الفرد والمجتمع، وترتبط الانفعالات الغضبية بالمستوى الثقافي في المجتمع، فالغضب قوة طردية مع الرقي الحضاري، فكلما تفاقمت حالات الغضب المفرط في المجتمع؛ كلما كثرت مشكلاته وأزماته والعكس بضده، ويجدر التنويه بأن الغضب ليس أمرا سيئا على إطلاقه، فهناك الغضب المحمود، وهو ما كان لله - عز وجل –. هذا وجاء البحث في مقدمة، وتمهید، وقسمين، وخاتمة، وفق النحو التالي: تمهيد: تحديد مصطلحات البحث. القسم الأول: الدراسة النظرية، وتتضمن، أربعة مباحث: المبحث الأول: التصور الإسلامي عن الغضب. المبحث الثاني: أسباب الغضب. المبحث الثالث: آثار الغضب في المجتمع. المبحث الرابع: علاج الغضب. القسم الثاني: تحليل الدراسة الثقافية الميدانية لاستبانة الغضب، وفيه أربع نقاط: أولا: الخصائص العامة لعينة الدراسة. ثانيا: القياسات المستخدمة. ثالثا: أساليب التحليل المستخدمة. رابعا: نتائج التحليل الإحصائي. الخاتمة: وتحتوي على أبرز النتائج والتوصيات.
