The aim of the article was to shed light on the efforts of the political leadership with the help of the government, and the positive steps that have been taken with the aim of economic reform. The article presented some figures indicating the movement of Egypt and its success in economic reform in order to regain its position among the Arab countries and the world. These steps includes the decrease in the unemployment rate to about 11.9% in the last quarter of the financial world 2016-2017, the increase of Egyptian exports during the period between January and April by 14% and the reduction of imports by 30%. The article praised the economic decisions taken by the President and his government and had a positive impact, as well as achieving a measure of what the men of investment and industry aspiring to in Egypt. In addition, the article reviewed a number of these decisions, such as rationalizing government spending, reducing reliance on random imports, and encouraging local products. Besides, it showed the government's serious and effective role in carrying out a program of economic reform and taking concrete steps to create an attractive climate for investment, which has encouraged the private sector in recent years to direct investments to Egypt. The article monitored the positive results of the economic reform measures, including the Suez Canal Development Project, which aims to establish a global logistics center, support and strengthen the network of roads connecting between the Suez Canal Region and the rest of the Republic's regions, the development of the efficiency of the national road network, to diversify the sources of energy generation, the draft of the Golden Triangle, and the draft of the development of western Egypt. Moreover, the article stressed that Egypt has a promising economic future, especially after the recent economic reforms. The article concluded the discussion on a set of urgent action required to complete the path of economic reform. The article recommended the need to foster the spirit of optimism and confidence in the Egyptian economy, and work in the spirit of one team, and the selfless interest of the nation than the others..
