|a تعرف الصورة الصحفية اليوم حضورا قويا ودائما في وسائل الإعلام على اختلاف أنواعها لما تمتلكه من قوة في الجذب والتأثير على المتلقي، لا يمكن عدها زخرفا ت زيينيا بل هي عبارة عن نظام اتصالي يحمل عدة دلائل. هذه الأخيرة التي أصبح بالإمكان الآن تفكيكها ودراستها وفهم معناها فهما صحيحا بفضل علم السيمياء الذي أشار إليه الباحث الفرنسي فردينارد دسوسير في كتابه محاضرات في اللسانيات العامة عام 1916 نظرا إلى الدور الكبير الذي تلعبه الصورة الصحفية تهدف هذه الدارسة إلى الحديث عن كيفية تحليل وقراءة الصورة الصحفية سيميائيا من أجل الكشف عن المعاني والدلالات الخفية التي تحملها هذه الأخيرة، وذلك بالتطرق إلى أهم المقاربات السيميائية التي يمكن تبنيها في التحليل السيميائي للصورة.
