يقدم هذا البحث دراسة تهتم بالجانب الفكري للأدب، وهي تعتمد فن المحاورات النثري ميداناً معرفياً لها، وتحاول من خلاله مناقشة السؤال الآتي: إلى أي مدى تستطيع المحاورات النثرية التي وصلت إلينا أن تقدم صورة عن طبيعة أذهان عرب الجاهلية وتوجهاتهم الفكرية، وذلك بقطع النظر عن الأخبار المدونة في المصادر العربية؟ وتكمن أهمية البحث في إبراز العلاقة الوثيقة بين الأدب وقضايا المجتمعات (ومنها التوجه الفكري للمجتمع)، وتمتد الأهمية إلى إبراز بعض الجوانب الخافية (أو المهمشة) في الأخبار التاريخية، من خلال المحاورات النثرية. بدأ البحث بعد المقدمة بتمهيد عرف فن المحاورات النثري في الأدب العربي، ووضح علاقة المحاورات بالمجتمع، وتطرق إلى المحاورات في العصر الجاهلي بشكل خاص، وبذا أصبحت السبيل ممهدة للولوج إلى صلب الموضوع المدروس. رصدت الدراسة طبيعة أذهان عرب الجاهلية وتوجهاتهم الفكرية على صعد عدة، وهي: الصعيد السياسي، والديني، والثقافي، والاجتماعي. لتتكامل صورة التوجه الفكري لذاك المجتمع في مختلف جوانب الحياة. وانتهى البحث بخاتمة بينت النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة.
This paper presents a study concerned with the intellectual side of literature, through prose dialogues, and trying to discuss the following question: To what extent can dialogues that have reached us to provide a picture of the minds nature of the pre-Islamic Arabs, and their intellectual orientation, regardless of the written news in Arabic sources? The importance of research in highlighting the relationship between literature and society issues (including the intellectual orientation of society), and the importance extends to highlight some of the latent aspects (or marginalized) in the historic news, through prose dialogues. The search began after introduction by definition of the prose dialogues in Arabic literature, and then explained the relationship between dialogues and society, then spoke about the dialogues in the pre-Islamic era, in particular, and then entered in the studied subject. The study observed the minds nature of the pre-Islamic Arabs and their intellectual orientations on many levels, namely: the political level, religious, cultural, and social. To integrate the intellectual orientation picture of that society in the different aspects of life. The search ended with a conclusion showed the findings of the study.
