|f Although more than half a century has passed since the establishment of the Arab League and the existence of several economic, social and strategic agreements between these countries, including the Arab Common Market, these agreements have not been fully implemented. The electricity grid as a priority in Arab economic cooperation is one of the most important objectives of the sustainable development of its countries. This research aimed at shedding light on the importance of electrical grid among the Arab countries through discussing the following points: the importance of electrical grid and its economic benefits and the environmental strategy, production, development, transmission, distribution and consumption of electricity in the Arab world. In addition, it discussed also the characteristics of the electricity networks in the Arab World, the most important projects of the electrical grid, implemented and underway, the economic and technical revenues thereof, the future forecast of electric power, its demand amount in the coming years, and how to face them.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018

|a علي الرغم من مرور أكثر من نصف قرن علي تأسيس جامعة الدول العربية، ووجود العديد من الاتفاقيات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والاستراتيجية بين هذه الدول، ومنها السوق للعربية المشتركة، إلا أن هذه الاتفاقيات لم تفعل بصورة كاملة، ويأتي الربط الكهربائي في اولويات التعاون الاقتصادي العربي، وواحدا من اهم اهداف التنمية المستدامة لدوله، وقد جاء هذا البحث لإلقاء الضوء علي اهمية الربط الكهربائي بين دول الوطن العربي، ومن خلال مناقشة للنقاط التالية: اهمية الربط الكهربائي وفوائده الاقتصادية والاستراتيجية البيئية، إنتاج وتطور الطاقة الكهربائية في الوطن العربي ونقلها وتوزيعها واستهلاكها، خصائص شبكات الكهرباء في الوطن للعربي، وأهم مشروعات الربط الكهربائي المنفذة والجاري تنفيذها والعوائد الاقتصادية والفنية منها، ثم التوقع المستقبلي للطاقة الكهربائية ومقدار الطلب عليها في السنوات القادمة، وكيفية مواجهتها.
