هدف البحث إلى معرفة واقع مكتبات الوزارات الاتحادية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي لوصف الظاهرة من خلال جمع الحقائق والبيانات ومعالجتها وتحليلها كمياً ودقيقاً لاستخلاص دلالتها. وتكونت مجموعة البحث من 8 مكتبات الوزارات الاتحادية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. وصممت الاستبانة من ثلاثة أقسام وهي معلومات عامة حول الوزارات المبحوثة ووضع مكتبات الوزارات والصعوبات والتحديات التي تواجه مكتبات الوزارات. وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها أن معظم الوزارات توجه حكومة الإمارات نحو الحكومة الذكية تتجه نحو بناء مكتبات ومراكز معلومات متقدمة حيث يغلب عليها الطابع التكنولوجي والإلكتروني المتطور. كما أن تفاوتت الأوضاع في مكتبات الوزارات ما بين متقدمة جداً في تجهيزات وأدواتها وما بين التي بحاجة إلى إدخال بعض التطويرات. وخرج البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات من أهمها ضرورة وجود جهة مركزية تقوم على إعداد المعايير التطويرية والتعاونية في تلك المكتبات. وإنشاء ائتلاف أو تحالف لهذه المكتبات لتتمكن من توحيد الجهود وتتشارك في قواعد ومصادر المعلومات. وعقد لقاءات بين مسؤولي مكتبات الوزارات وبشكل دوري للوقوف على أهم الأمور المشتركة وتفعيل التعاون بينها.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The purpose of the research is to find out the reality of the libraries of the federal ministries in the United Arab Emirates. The research used the descriptive method to describe the phenomenon through the collection of the facts and the data and addressing and analyzing them quantitatively and accurately in order to derive their significance. The research group consisted of 8 libraries of UAE federal ministries. The questionnaire was designed from three sections: the general information about the investigated ministries, the status of the ministries 'libraries, and the difficulties and challenges which face the ministries' libraries. The research reached a number of results, the most important of which is that most ministries direct the government of the UAE towards the smart government, which is moving towards building libraries and advanced information centers, which are almost technological and electronic centers. The situation in the ministries' libraries is very different in terms of the equipment and the tools, and there is some need to introduce some developments. The research came out with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity of having a central body based on the preparation of the developmental and the cooperative standards in these libraries, and a coalition or alliance of these libraries to be able to unite efforts which shares the rules and the sources of the information, and holding meetings between the officials of the ministries periodically to find out the most important things that are common and activate the cooperation between them..This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
