المستخلص: نشأت جمعية "شهود يهوه" في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية سنة 1870م، وسبب النشأة أن الراهب تشارلز رصل Charles Taze Russel (1852- 1916)م، الذي تأثرا بأحداث طفولته، وبمذهبه، جمع حوله أفراداً من النصارى واليهود، ليكونوا لهم مسيحية جديدة، مخالفة للتي عند الطوائف المسيحية الأخرى، فالتصق تشارلز بالسبتيين "الأدفنتست"، تأثر بهم وبعقائدهم، وقد تسمى هؤلاء بعدة أسماء آخرها شهود يهوه، فصنعوا نصرانية يهودية، لها أفكارها وأحلامها، ورفضوا بعض آيات "الكتاب المقدس"، وآمنوا بالمسيح على طريقة جديدة، وحددوا نهاية العلام بحلول الملكوت المطلق للمسيح عام 1914م، فأدعو أن إسرائيل ستكون مؤيدة تأييدا إليها، وستعود إسرائيل إلى "أرض الموعد" أرض فلسطين في "معركة هرمجدون" التي ستكون بين قوى الخير والشر، وسيهزم الشيطان ويحطم الأشرار المسيحيين بجميع طوائفهم وسيشارك "شهود يهوه" في حكم العالم مع المسيح، فمملكة المسيح ليست مفارقة للأرض، بل هي مملكة كل ما فيها مثال إذ ستمتلئ الدنيا عدلاً بعد أن امتلأت جوراً، فهم يؤمنون بيهوه إلها ويسوع (عيسى) رئيسا لمملكة الله، ولا يؤمنون بجنة أو نار حقيقية، فالجنة هي الحياة الأبدية في الدنيا لهم خاصة أربعة عشر ألفاً منهم هم الذين يبقون ويخلدون، والهاوية الموت، وينكرون العبادة الجمهورية، ليس لهم كنائس ولكن أماكن للاجتماع، لا يؤمنون بطبيعة الخطيئة من أدم، لهم علاقة وطيدة بإسرائيل وبالمنظمات اليهودية العالمية كالماسونية، ويتبنون العقائد اليهودية في الجملة ويعملون لهدف واحد من خلال دعوتهم للعالمية، والإخاء؛ ألا وهو بقاؤهم وخلودهم بعد القضاء على الشر (النصارى بجميع فرقها والمسلمون وجميع الديانات، فهي جميعها وثنية) بمعونة يهوه.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses Association originated in the United States in 1870. It was established by a monk called Charles Taze Russel (1852 -1916) who, influenced by certain events from his early childhood and religious ideologies, gathered some members of Christian and Jewish origins and created a new Christian sect, different from all the other sects. He initially adhered to the Seventh-day Adventists and became influenced by their beliefs. The movement was given several names and ‘Jehovah’s Witness’ was the last. They created a Jewish Christianity with distinct ideas and aspirations. They also denied some verses of the Bible, changed the nature of their beliefs in Christ, and predicted the year 1914 to be the year when Israel will have heavenly support and return to the Promised Land after the Battle of Armageddon between good and Evil, which will end in the defeat of Satan and the destruction of all the other Christian sects. Then, God will extend his heavenly kingdom to include earth with Christ as his supreme ruler with the participation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. God’s Kingdom, as they refer to it, will be transformed into a paradise similar to the Garden of Eden. They believe in Jehovah as a God, and Jesus Christ as the minister of God’s Land. They do not believe in Heaven and Hell, or the afterlife. Instead, they believe that Heaven is an eternal life for the 14,000 Jehovah’s witnesses and that Death is the abyss. They deny constitutional worshipping and the establishment of churches, but they have places for meeting. They do not believe in the Original Sin. They have strong alliances with Israel and International Jewish Organizations, like the Freemasons. Generally speaking, they embrace many Jewish beliefs and hope to achieve one purpose through their calling for globalization and fraternity; their survival and supremacy with the aid of Jehovah after the destruction of the evil forces, including all the other religious parties Muslims, non- Muslims and other Christian sects.
