The narrative study has won the attention of many scholars who have concentrated their efforts on it. It has occupied a great space of the literary studies, and hands are still continuing to write down in this field. This study has been mentioned in many scientific references, dealing with "narration" in all its various genres. For "News" is being an important genre in Arab culture , our study seeks to clarify the structure of "News" in an Islamic Arab cultural historical record, distinguished by the variety of its knowledge and its comprehensiveness . This record is represented by "Al-Munthadhem in the History of Kings & Nations" Book by Ibn Al-Jawzi. What has perhaps made me choose and study this subject is the rareness of the academic studies dealing with this book. It has been dealt with by just one academic study by Dr Hassan Ali Al-Hakeem in his thesis entitles "Al-Munthadhem Book, a Study in its Methodology, its Resources and its Importance". In addition, the book includes the characteristics of story with all its kinds, the beauty of narration and multiplicity and variety of knowledge. This study has been built up in three chapters preceded by an introduction, a preface and followed by a conclusion and then a list of references. The preface contains two aspects. The first one deals with the "Muntadhem" book with regard to the methodology followed in its writing and the various information it contains. While the second one deals with the concept of "news" and the efforts of researchers in clarifying its features. The first chapter comes after to study the kinds of "news" and the order of its structure in the book. This chapter is divided into three themes. The first one is specified to study the kinds of "news" in "Al-Munthadhem in the History of Kings & Nations" Book where the study takes an interest in revealing four kinds of news (the political news, ideological news, social news and odd news). As for the second theme , it is specified to study the news structure .1 have initiated it with the study of the beginning order for its being a basic part of the news texts in addition to making acquaintance with its most important functions . Then I deal with the introductory order in "Akhbarlbn Al-Jawzi". Regarding the third theme, it is entitled "Overlapping of Genres" where I pay attention to the poetic attendance in many news prosaic texts. The second chapter deals with the study of the components of the narrative speech. It is divided into three themes. The first one deals with the study of storytellers with stating their kinds and functions. The second one deals with the narrated story, represented by characters and events. While the third one is specified to study those who are told the story. The study clarifies their concepts and kinds of their existence inside toe narrative texts. Finally, toe third chapter is specified to study toe space, which branches into (space of time & space of place). Each of their concepts has been dealt with separately, clarifying its aspects and kinds. This study has depended on toe analytical narrative methods in studying news and their presentation.
