المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على طبيعة الذكاء العاطفي للاختصاصين الاجتماعيين ومستوى أدائهم المهني لعملية التقدير والتدخل للمواقف المهنية، وتقويم العائد من التدخل. واستخدمت الدراسة الوصفية منهج المسح الاجتماعي بالعينة للاختصاصيين الاجتماعيين في جامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبد الرحمن، وجامعة الملك سعود، وجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية في مدينة الرياض، وبلغ عدد أفراد العينة (97) اختصاصية اجتماعية.
وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الذكاء العاطفي والأداء المهني للاختصاصيين الاجتماعيين متوسط خلال الممارسة المهنية بمراحلها الثلاث (التقدير، والتدخل، وتقويم العائد من التدخل المهني). بالإضافة إلى أن العلاقة بين الذكاء العاطفي للاختصاصيين الاجتماعيين، ومستوى أدائهم المهني في ممارسة الخدمة الاجتماعية في إدارات ووحدات الخدمة الاجتماعية في الجامعة بمراحلها الثلاث علاقة طردية، أي أنه كلما زاد الذكاء العاطفي للاختصاصية الاجتماعية، كلما كانت الممارسة المهنية من قبلها أكثر فعالية وكفاءة. ومن أبرز توصيات الدراسة، أهمية تضمين مقاييس الذكاء العاطفي للشروط لمن يشغل وظيفة قيادية في مؤسسات الخدمة الإجتماعية، وضرورة تفعيل برامج تدريبية لتنمية الذكاء العاطفي للاختصاصيين الاجتماعيين اللاتي على رأس العمل بطريقة مهنية احترافية مدروسة لزيادة الكفاءة والفعالية في مستوى الآداء.


The study aimed at identifying the nature of emotional intelligence of social specialists and the level of their professional performance of the process of the evaluation and intervention of the professional situations in addition to evaluating the results of this intervention . The descriptive study used the Social Survey Methodology for a sample of the female social specialists at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University, King Saud University and Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh City . The number of the individuals of the sample reached (97) female social specialists.
The results revealed that the level of emotional intelligence and professional performance of social specialists is average in professional practice in its three stages (evaluation, intervention, and assessment of the result of professional intervention). In addition, the relationship between the emotional intelligence of the social specialists and the level of their professional performance in the practice of social service in the administrations and units of social service at the three stages of the university is a positive relationship, that is, the more emotional intelligence of the female social specialist increases, the more her professional practice becomes more effective and efficient. The most important recommendations of the study are as follows : the importance of including the scales of emotional intelligence in the conditions for those who occupy a leading job in the social service institutions and the necessity of activating training programs for developing the emotional intelligence of in-service female social specialists in a planned professional way for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness at the performance level
