المستخلص: In the name of merciful Allah, Peace be upon the soul of the leader of coexistence, and the soul of his followers till the day of resurrection. Nowadays Coexistence, accepting each other, and multiplicity of religions are one of the most important and sensitive issues. This is due to the violence that our region faces and goes through which always makes coexistence somehow risky. In spite of the importance of this issue and the hard work that continuously had and will be done by some people here and there with regard to this issue, no field research have been conducted on this subject neither by the academic teachers nor by the students in both College of Islamic Sciences/ Salahaddin University/ Erbil and College of Babylon for Philosophy and Theology/ Ainkawa, Erbil, where these two academic centers have a very important and sensitive position because they continuously educate religious men, religious leaders, and religious scientists in the future. So, it deemed necessary to fill this gap and conduct a field study under the name of (The Reality of peaceful coexistence between Christians and Islam, a comparison field study between the College of Islamic Sciences/ Salahaddin University/ Erbil and the College of Babylon for Philosophy and Theology in Ainkawa). In this study an introduction has been done about the importance and the methodology of the research and above mentioned both colleges. Furthermore, the results of this study analyzed with respect to gender, scientific ability and the age of the participants. Also, the data analyzed according to the main questions of the research, religious belief sections, social and economical relationships, religious occasions and academic relationships, religious speech and the reason behind such outcomes with the availability of coexistence activities. Finally, some recommendations have been forwarded.
