This paper analyzes the dramatic treatment to the issue of smoking, drug abuse and Addiction in the Egyptian television channels. It is a consecutive study of Ramadan series 2013. The paper discusses how drama invests the huge time space and scenes to deal with smoking and drug abuse issues. It also points to the drama's increasing interest in these issues compared to 2010 and 2011. The study includes all the series presented during Ramadan 2013, which amounts 34 series. The results revealed an increase in smoking and drug abuse scenes in 2013 series compared to those in 2010 and 2011. It also revealed, that the drama did not attempt to utilize the time space or the numerous scenes to highlight its negative influence on the audience and specifically the youth. It did not highlight the social, psychological, and health dangers of smoking and drug abuse which affect the individual, family and society. On the contrary, the drama creators related joy and happiness to smoking and drug abuse. It also related smoking and drug abuse scenes to anxiety and nervousness, which means that smoking and drug abuse are means to get rid of one's problems and help him in enduring difficult situations and stress.
