The protection of the right to privacy in the digital environment is an urgent need, necessitated by developments in various spheres of life due to the widespread means of information and communication technologies, and the negative impact that it has had on the privacy of individuals, which has become vulnerable to violations and attacks. The need for society and its security and judicial institutions to have a law to frame this vital area of society is another factor that supports and strengthens this approach. This study attempts to clarify the depth of the transformation of the right to private life in terms of concept and the means of protecting it criminally in the digital environment.
