|a المكان في الشعر روح رحبة، بل فضاء يفيض بإحساس الشاعر نحو أشيائه، متخطيا في ذلك الحدود المادية بكل أشكالها إلى ما توحى به. وهذا هو فعل المكان في شعر إقبال. إنه الحيز الذي انبلج نور الإسلام فيه. لأن الإسلام في كينونة إقبال هو منهج ثر للحياة، ورؤية جلى للإنسان في مبادئه وتعامله مع الكائنات جميعا. ومن أهم الأماكن التي أخذت الحيز الأكبر في شعره: المدينة المنورة، ومسجد قرطبة، وفلسطين، وغزنين. لقد أصبح لكل من هذه الأمكنة وغيرها مما احتفى بها البحث، إيقاعه المميز الخاص المستنير بقبسات من فكر إقبال الملتزم، ومن روحه المحلقة في الآفاق الإنسانية القريبة والبعيدة في آن معا. واتسم هذا المكان بسمات فنية جمالية راقية أهمه الانزياحات، والصورة التشخيصية منها خاصة.

|b The setting in poetry is an unconfined spirit, it is a space full of the poet's emotions towards his objects transcending by that all material borders reaching to their implications. This is in fact the effectiveness of the setting in Iqbal's poetry. Islam in Iqbal's entity is a rich-life method and a vision of Man's principles and ways of dealing with creatures at large. Some of the most important places that constitute a large portion of his poetry are: Medina, Cordoba mosque, Palestine, and Ghaznin. Such places and others, discussed in this paper, have their peculiar rhythm inspired by Iqbal's committed thought as well as by his creative and preoccupied imagination with both near and far humanitarian horizons. It is found that the place is characterized by elite aesthetic and artistic features.
