المستخلص: The following contribution focuses mainly on Algeria's official religious institution and on the various strategies it has adopted in the face of the overwhelming progress of Islamist movement over two decades (1965-1988), the social-historical origins of the official religious institution highlight its sociological composition on the one hand and how the alliance with the bourgeoisie of the state to establish Jacobite Islam on the other.
Jacobite / formal Islam - as the guardian of religious orthodoxy - found itself facing political Islam through its representative, the Islamist movement, which the official religious institution has recruited to stand up to a project aimed at double hegemony: religious and political.

La présente contribution, s’intéresse essentiellement à l’institution religieuse officielle en Algérie, et les différentes stratégies mises en place par ses soins afin de faire face a l’avancée fulgurante du courant islamiste sur une période s’étalant sur deux décennies (1965-1988).
La genèse socio-historique de l’institution religieuse officielle révèle en plus de sa composante sociologique, la manière dont s’est faite l’alliance avec la bourgeoisie d’état pour donner naissance a un islam Jacobin, en sa qualité de gardien de l’orthodoxie religieuse, cet islam officiel Jacobin "armé" de son appareil (l’institution religieuse) devait s’opposer et faire face à l’islam politique et son représentant le courant islamiste car menacé et mis en danger par un projet qui visait au moins une double hégémonie: religieuse et politique.


تركز المساهمة التالية أساسا على المؤسسة الدينية الرسمية في الجزائر وعلى مختلف الاستراتيجيات التي انتهجتها في مواجهة التقدم الكاسح للتيار الإسلاماوي، عبر فترة زمنية ممتدة على مدى عشريتين (1965 – 1988)، تبرز لنا الأصول التاريخية الاجتماعية للمؤسسة الدينية الرسمية تشكيلتها السوسيولوجية من جهة والكيفية التي تبلور بها التحالف مع برجوازية الدولة لإرساء إسلام يعقوبي من جهة أخرى.
لقد وجد الإسلام اليعقوبي/ الرسمي - كحارس الأرثوذكسية الدينية - نفسه في مواجهة الإسلام السياسي عبر ممثله التيار الإسلاماوي تلك المواجهة التي جندت لها المؤسسة الدينية الرسمية للوقوف أمام مشروع يرمي إلى هيمنة مزدوجة : دينية و سياسية.
