|a لكل مهنة أخلاق ينبغي على من يمارسها أن يتعامل مع الناس بها، ومهنة الطب ربما كانت أوسع المهن تعاملا من الناس، ومراعاة آداب هذه المهنة ربما كان أشد من غيرها من آداب المهن الأخرى، باعتبار صاحبها إنما يتعامل مع أناس غير أصحاء، تفتقر المعاملة معهم إلى نوع معين من الآداب، تخفف عنهم آلام المرض، وتواسيهم فيما هم فيه، وترفق بهم، ولذا فإن هذه الآداب هي من الأهمية بمكان، بحيث لا يتسامح في إغفالها عند ممارسة هذه المهنة، وهذا البحث يميط اللثام عن حقيقة هذه الآداب.
