Negation is a chapter of meaning by which the speaker aims at instilling the language structure from the wisdom of the person against him proof is made, and to convert the positive mental meaning to the opposite, in a form that contains an element to indicate this. Tools of negation multiply and methods diversify. The major tools and strongest in significance over negation is "no". No may "negate" genre and may negate unity. The condition of this study is search of these two tools. There are several matters that called me to choose the subject of negation and its significance after the two tools: - First: Similarity between the two tools and the scholars' confusion of "no" that negates genre and "no" that negates unity. - Second: Grammarians varied in extracting some instruments of the two tools. - Third: Discrepancy of opinions of grammarians on the work of "no" assimilated to "not", and not same as "no" that negates genre. The meaning of this to provide texts per second and lack or scarcity of it in the first. Therefore, the purpose of the study afterwards is: To differentiate between "No" that negates genre and "No", that negates unit, particularly because they are similar in form and conditions to be named in the name and predicate after them. To reckon the poetic and prose citations in which "No" that negates genre with its two types, and that was cited by grammarians in their writings. We find significance of the negated sentence after the two tools, based on the citations of each tool. To help learner avoid confusion when he reviews the two chapters. Fourth topics: Difference between "No" that negates genre and "No" that negates unit, by surveying the opinions of scientists and reaching consistent and accurate result in difference between them.
