تعد تقنية النانو من المجالات العلمية الحديثة الواعدة، كما ستشكل تحولات هائلة في الاقتصاد العالمي في الحاضر والمستقبل، وقد أدركت المملكة وقيادتها الرشيدة بقيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين بأهمية هذه التقنية فكانت سباقة نحو إطلاق ودعم كثير من المبادرات الرائدة فيها. لذا فإن نشر ثقافة تقنية النانو، له أهمية كبيرة جدا لمواكبة التقدم الحضاري والأسلوب العلمي الحديث المتطور. ولأهمية برامج التعليم العالي وما تشهده من تحديث وتطوير لهذه البرامج لابد أن يدرج بها تقنية النانو لتطوير ودعم الاقتصاد الوطني لتواكب رؤية 2030. ويهدف البحث إلى الكشف عن مستوى ثقافة تقنية النانو في الملابس والمنسوجات لطالبات البكالوريوس بكلية التصاميم قسم تصميم الأزياء. والتعرف على برنامج البكالوريوس في كلية التصاميم. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن مستوى ثقافة طالبات البكالوريوس بكلية التصاميم بقسم تصميم الأزياء بتقنية النانو في الملابس والمنسوجات متدني للغاية في جميع المستويات. وأن برنامج البكالوريوس بكلية التصاميم قسم تصميم الأزياء يتطلب إضافة التطورات الحديثة في تكنولوجيا النسيج لتقنية النانو في الملابس والمنسوجات ليسهم في نشر ثقافة تقنية النانو. أوصت الدراسة بالقيام بأنشطة تعريفية لطالبات البكالوريوس عن تقنية النانو في الملابس والمنسوجات وفوائدها ومجالاتها، ومنتجاتها، لفهم واستيعاب علوم وتقنيات النانو، والتواصل مع المنشآت والمراكز المحلية والمتخصصة في تقنية النانو لمعرفة المستجدات في هذه التقنية وتطوير برنامج البكالوريوس لكلية التصاميم قسم تصميم الأزياء، وتوفير وقاعدة بيانات لتقنية النانو في الملابس والمنسوجات للتسهيل على الباحثين الوصول للمعلومات الهامة في أبحاثهم.
Nanotechnology is one of the most modern scientific fields; it will affect positive on the global economy at present and future. The Kingdom and its leadership the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques have recognized the importance of this technology and have pioneered the launch and support of many pioneering activities (initiatives). So it is a great importance to follow up the progress of all activities fields and modern scientific development. For higher education, the nanotechnology is very importance for the education programs to obtain experiences in this field. Also science nanotechnology must be included in our higher education to support and develop and support our economy with vision 2030. The aim of this research is to focus the levels of knowledge of nanotechnology for the students of bachelor of apparel and textiles of the Faculty of fashion design, and to realize the bachelor programs of the Faculty of Design. It was found that the level of knowledge of nanotechnology in the female students in the design department of apparel and textiles is very low at all levels. The bachelor program in the design college requires more additional for nanotechnology in the field of textile and apparel, to contribute and dissemination of knowledge of nanotechnology. The study recommended supporting the students with activities in nanotechnology in the field of apparel and textile to improve and increase the knowledge. The cooperation between all centers specialized in nanotechnology is very importance to help the students for understanding the nanoscience technology. Database of nanotechnology in the field of apparel and textile must be establishes as soon as possible facilitate researchers' access for information in research.
