|b It is necessary in regards to society that people’s lives should not be absolute without any kind of regulations, which would lead to conflicts with the freedom and rights of others, causing terrific conflicts and messes. Thus, it was necessary to set rules that regulate the exercises of liberty and the rights of individuals and ensure a safe and secure life for all and a society based on stability and security Policemen’s work plays a part in these legal regulations laid down by the legislators to ensure a safe and secure life and a society based on stability and security, which is of great importance in the course of criminal lawsuits for these following reasons: It represents the opening stage that takes place following the occurrence of the crime, its discovery or report. It is a job that extends to the two stages of collecting inferences and preliminary investigation, in which the evidence is collected and also the charges against which the defendant is brought to court. The police are assigned many measures that affect the freedom and rights of the individual, such as arrest, inspection of houses, and detention in reserve. Most of the cases that are held by the criminal courts from misdemeanors and irregularities are hidden from everyone except the policemen who do the investigation work and on the basis of which the criminal proceedings are filed without judicial investigation. At the point of collecting evidence, the police do not enjoy the guarantees that ensure their independence, unlike judges and prosecutors.

|a تناولت هذه الدراسة موضوعا في غاية الأهمية، يتعلق بحقوق الإنسان والعمل الشرطي. وبخاصة عند استخدام الشرطة للقوة في مرحلة جمع الاستدلالات وحالة الطوارئ. وقد حاول الباحث من خلال ذلك تعلم كيفية تحديد الخطوات المناسبة لحماية حقوق الإنسان واحترامها في العمل الشرطي. ويعد الضمان الأفضل في ذلك هو التدريب والمراقبة والانضباط من جانب الضباط المعهود إليهم ممارسة هذه السلطات تجاه إساءة استخدام الشرطة لسلطاتها خلال ممارستها عملها. فثقة الجمهور بالشرطة والعلاقة الجيدة لها مع المجتمع شيء أساسي، ليس فقط لشرعية عملها، ولكن لضمان أداء دورها بفاعلية أيضا. وثمة علاقة وطيدة بين الصورة الذهنية لدى الجمهور عن رجل الأمن، ومدى رضاه عن أسلوب تعامله معه؛ إذ يتضح أنه كلما تحسنت الصورة الذهنية لدى الجمهور عن رجل الأمن تحسن رضاه عن أسلوب تعامله.
