المستخلص: أجريت الدراسة الراهنة بهدف الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة بين الأمن الفكري وكل من الذكاء الانفعالي واتخاذ القرار لدى طلبة جامعة القاهرة، وكذلك التعرف على الفروق بين طلبة الجامعة في متغيرات الدراسة وفقاً لمتغيري (النوع، والتخصص)، واشتملت عينة الدراسة على (633) طالباً وطالبة من الدارسين في الكليات العملية والنظرية بجامعة القاهرة، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي، وتم تطبيق مقياس الأمن الفكري من إعداد الباحث، ومقياس الذكاء الانفعالي من إعداد (عثمان ورزق، 2002)، ومقياس اتخاذ القرار من إعداد (عبدون، 1999)، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج، وهى: وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة بين الأمن الفكري وكل من الذكاء الانفعالي واتخاذ القرار لدى طلبة الجامعة، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين الطلاب الذكور والإناث في متغيرات الدراسة الحالية، حيث اتجهت هذه الفروق لصالح الإناث في الأمن الفكري والذكاء الانفعالي، بينما كانت الفروق لصالح الذكور في متغير اتخاذ القرار، في حين وجدت فروق دالة إحصائياً بين طلبة الجامعة وفقاً للتخصص العلمي (الكليات النظرية، والعلمية) في متغيرات الدراسة (الأمن الفكري، الذكاء الانفعالي، اتخاذ القرار) لصالح طلاب التخصصات العلمية، كما كشفت الدراسة إمكانية التنبؤ بالأمن الفكري في ضوء متغيري الذكاء الانفعالي واتخاذ القرار.

The present study was conducted in purpose of detecting the nature of the relationship between the intellectual security and both of the emotional intelligence and decision taking of Cairo university students as well as recognizing the differences between university students in study variables according to the two variables (gender and specialization). The study sample included (633) male and female students from learners in practical and theoretical faculties in Cairo university. The study relied on the descriptive method. The scale of intellectual security (prepared by the researcher), the scale of emotional intelligence (prepared by Othman &Rezek 2002), the scale of decision taking (prepared by Abdon 1999) were applied. The study found several results that are: there is a significant positive correlation between intellectual security and both of emotional intelligence and decision taking of university students. The results showed also that there are statistically significant differences between male and female students in the variables of the present study where these differences were on behalf of females in intellectual security and emotional intelligence, where the differences were on behalf of males in the variable of decision taking. There were statistically significant differences between university students according to the scientific specialization (theoretical and practical faculties) in the study variables (intellectual security, emotional intelligence, decision taking) on behalf of the scientific specialization. The study revealed the potential of predicting the intellectual security in the light of emotional intelligence and decision taking variables.
