The year 2012 was a most successful year for me. I won a grant to be the 1st Fulbright Scholar-in-residence at Elizabethtown College. On January 10th, I traveled to Pennsylvania State in the US and I was there during the spring semester. In this capacity, I taught Mass Media in the Middle East in The Department of Communications. Gave talks at several American universities, colleges and communities, including Yale and Mar quette Universities in addition to Pennsylvania State University Campus at Altoona, besides Elizabethtown College. Her talks focused on the Egyptian Revolution, status of Egyptian awakening, the Arab Spring and the role of Social Media. Other talks included women in Islam, and Egyptian culture. |
