المستخلص: تطرقت في هذا البحث إلى الصلة بين الحكمة والرثاء، ومحاولة الشعراء العباسيين في القرن الثاني الهجري إضافة جدة تناسب تطور القصيدة العربية شكلا ومضموناً، والتعرف على موقف النقد العربي القديم والمعاصر عموما من هذه الصلة، فضلا عن ربط النقد القديم بين منهجي قصيدتي المدح والرثاء أيضاً. ثم وقفت على مبحث الخريمي، نسبه ومكانته الشعرية وثقافته، لأعرض بعدها ضروب مراثيه: الرثاء الذاتي متمثلاً في رثاء عينيه، ثم الغيري، رثاء ولده وأخيه ومولاه، ثم رثاء بغداد فيما يسمى رثاء المدن والحواضر، محاولة بسط أهم سمات مراثيه الفكرية والفنية لأصل إلى أن الحكمة في مراثي الخريمي بضروبها الثلاثة لم تكن أمراً بديهيا فحسب، بل مثلت نزوعاً عضدته الثقافة، وأحالته المحنة الذاتية رؤية تنم عن بصيرة وتأن كما أحالته فجيعة دمار الحاضرة عمرانياَ مشروعا إصلاحياً يبحث في قيم الفرد والجماعة، مقترحاً الحلول المناسبة لتنمية النفس الإنسانية في سعيها الدؤوب إلى الأمثل والأكمل والأكثر قيمة ونفعاً.

In this article I deal with the link between wisdom and elgy, and the off arts of Abbasid poets in the 2 second Higra centry to pride a novelty suitable for the development of Arabic poem in terms of form and content, in order to see the porition of classical and contenporey criticism in general as to this link, besides the classical criticism's relation of the manners of eulogy poems. Then I passed up al-Khuraimay's treatise, his genealogy, poetic status and his educateness so as to preset the types of his elegies: self-elegy as exanqlied in his lamentation over his eyes, his elegies of the others, his elegies of his son, his brother and his master, then his elegy over Baghdad, known as the elegy of towns and cities, seeking to explicate the most important characteristics of his elegies: intellectual as well as artistic, hoping to reach the end of this article, namely, that wisdom in al-khuraimay's elegies with all their three kinds was not only a familiar matter but it represented a tendency intensified by his educateress, and transformed through his own phght into a vision nerealing his insight as well as soberity, the disaster of the destruction of town's constructions charged this tendency into a neforming project seeking in the values of the indindual and the community, suggesting proper solution to uplift the human self in its incessant quest for the ideal, the perfect and the most valuable and useful.
